Garbage collection

Call Waste & Recycling Services at (403) 230-6600 and provide them with your address, and with this information they can provide you with your garbage collection day.

Your garbage collection will be on the same day of the week throughout the year, with the exception of Christmas week and the New Year week. Garbage will be collected on all other statutory holidays that fall during the Tuesday to Friday schedule, including Good Friday, Canada Day, and Remembrance Day.

Recycling
Currently all recycling is done through our neighbourhood recycling depot where residents can drop their mixed paper, cardboard, newspaper, magazines, clear or colored glass, metal, milk cartons or jugs and plastic bags for recycling. Curbside pick-up is provided by private companies only.

Our community recycling depot is located at the South Calgary Community Association site at
3130 16th Street SW.
