Rates
Hourly rental rates typically range between $60 and $70 per hour for the upper hall and $40 and $50 per hour for the lower hall depending on the type of function, day of the week and time of day. We also offer a range of discounts. Please see click to see more details on our rates (PDF).

Functions
Our hall has facilities for business functions (meetings, presentations, seminars, sales, etc), educational functions (classes, lessons, religious, etc) and social functions (receptions, banquets, parties, weddings, fundraisers, parties, reunions, etc). We also have a kitchen available.

Additional Equipment Available: microphone, podium, portable screen, risers, piano (upper), coffee & tea urns, powered speaker with iPod connection.

Janitorial: Normal building care is included in the rental rate. If unusually heavy cleaning is required after an event, clients will be charged $30 per hour (see Rental Terms and Conditions for details).

Volleyball Courts: $30/hr per court

The SCCA will provide tables, chairs, and whatever additional equipment is requested. Clients are requested to set up as they wish and return all equipment to an as found condition after their event. We can provide setup and takedown service upon request at a labour rate of $30 per hour.

Confirmation Deposit: A 25% confirmation deposit is required at the time of booking. See Rental Terms and Conditions (2.e.) for refund policies.

Damage Deposit: This is equal to the rent and must be paid by credit or debit. It is separate from the rental cost, and will be refunded to your credit or debit card within 7 days, minus any withholdings.

Decorating: Clients wishing to decorate the evening before an event have two options. They may secure the space in advance at a somewhat discounted rate, or, if nobody else has rented the evening in question by 1 week prior to their event, they may have the space at a greater discount. See Rental Terms and Conditions (3.b.x.) for details on acceptable decorations.

SOCAN – A royalty fee collected by the Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada
